Gregory Epps, founder of RoboFold, will discuss the RoboFold technology, a new system for forming sheet metal with industrial robots instead of mould tools, a process which allows for parametric designs to realised. He will outline the path of development, the current applications, future uses, and where the company is now headed.
By comparison to the RoboFold technology, the speaker will look at similarly placed technologies such as 3D printing, lessons we can learn from innovation, and what surprises we can expect in the future from current trends in technology emerging from a new breed of entrepreneurs in this area.
